4-COURSE CURATED MENU
Every menu is built from scratch for your group — your dietary needs, your cultural preferences, your theme. Cuisine from any country in the world. Your Food Architect presents and narrates each course at the table, turning the meal into a story.
FULL BEVERAGE SERVICE
Thoughtfully paired beverages — non-alcoholic and alcoholic options available — included in every experience. No cash bars. No confusion. Guests arrive to a table that is already ready for them.
ON-SITE CURATION
From the moment guests arrive, the room tells a story. Your curator is present for the full event — minimum 3 hours — ensuring every element of the environment is working together: the light, the table, the flow, the feeling.
CONVERSATION & CONNECTION
Team bonding is not a segment. It is built into the architecture of the evening — through themed conversation starters, curated icebreakers, and moments designed to make connection feel natural. Not forced. Never awkward. Always remembered.
A GIFT FOR EVERY GUEST
Every gathering ends with something to take home — a small, curated gift included with every experience. Custom company-branded guest gifts are available as an add-on. The detail that tells your people the evening was built for them.
TRAINED UNIFORMED STAFF
For experiences above 10 guests, one staff member per 10 guests is included. All staff are personally trained to the Something Light standard — present, professional, and part of the experience.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE
My name is Abimbola Oshodi. I am a Nigerian-born founder, strategist, and experience curator with a background spanning automotive, healthcare, financial services, and AI — and a decade of building things that bring people together with intention.
Every Something Light Experience is something I have personally designed. The theme. The menu. The arc of the evening. The detail that makes a guest feel like the room was built specifically for them. That level of intentionality is not outsourced. It comes from me — and it shows up in every decision, from the first conversation to the last course.

I have spent years in rooms where the agenda was everything and the people were an afterthought. Something Light Experiences exists to change that. Something Light Experiences is designed for companies, brands, and organizations who believe that how you gather your people says something about who you are. Private clients are warmly welcomed — private bookings require a dedicated consultation.

Every engagement includes the full environment — not just the food.
Every table is dressed for your specific gathering — linen, LED candles, ambient lighting, centerpieces, plate settings, glassware, flatware, printed welcome signage, table numbers, menu cards, and name settings when provided in advance. Every element reflects your event theme, from color palette to table design. Florals available as an add-on.
Venue
Venue sourcing, rental, and coordination are the client's responsibility. You secure the space — we show up and make it extraordinary. This is not a limitation; it is by design.
Need us to handle the venue too? We offer full venue management as an add-on including sourcing, site recommendations, tours, booking, and end-to-end coordination. Quoted separately; venue costs passed through at cost plus a coordination fee.
Add-Ons
Custom Company-Branded Guest Gifts
Fully customized takeaway gifts bearing your company logo and event theme. Available when lead time allows. Pricing per person, quoted at booking.
Rush Booking
Events booked with less than 30 days notice carry a 35% premium on the total investment.
Extended Travel
Events outside a 25-mile radius of Fairfax VA require a travel and logistics fee starting at $1,000. Travel outside the DMV available when all travel expenses are covered by the client.
Equipment & Setup
A flat equipment and setup fee applies to all events. Covers transport, assembly, and breakdown of all Something Light equipment and service infrastructure.
Additional Staff Hours
One trained uniformed staff member required per 10 guests above 10 guests. Billed at $55/hour per person, 3-hour minimum.
